The coarse diamond grinding disc removes material highly efficiently when fitted to the sharpener. This can quickly restore the edge of very blunt or slightly damaged blades as well as assist with rapid grinding when amending the angle.

With its larger grit, the coarse HORL® Diamond disc grinds away metal even faster than the pre-installed Diamond Standard disc. This makes it eminently suitable for correcting slightly damaged blades.
